Abragod security is made possible by unique secret sharing technology and algorithms first published by Adi Shamir and enriched by world-class cryptographers to optimize secret sharing for various application scenarios: pieces of information are distributed among different instances and a specific number of instances is necessary to reassemble the data and information.

Abragod secret sharing offers outstanding information-theoretic security for long-term protection against quantum computers, abuse, theft and espionage. With Abragod, internet advertisers and giants, criminals, enemies and hackers can no longer get access to your information and data because only pieces of data or fragments without any useful information are stored, and if one of the data fragments is stolen, it is completely useless to the hacker, spy, thief or enemy. Abragod cloud storage and AaaS (Abragod as a Service) can split even encrypted data and files into fragments/pieces of data to protect data with secret sharing algorithms.

One-time pad encryption
The encryption principle of OTP - one-time pad, which has been well established and mathematically proven for many years, ensures secrecy. The encryption key is at least as long as the data/information itself, which produces and confirms information-theoretic security: ITS. Every single piece of data/fragment is encrypted with OTP.

Configuration
The Abragod fOS - the hardened operating system of the Abragod products - is designed to manage and select the 'fragment-ratio' for each application and the storage locations of the fragments. The 'fragment-ratio' defines the created/applicated number of fragments and the required/necessary number of fragments for recovery. Depending on the model of the Abragod product version, 3, 4, 8, 16 or 26 fragments can be created and any 'fragment-ratio' can be selected (4/6, 3/14 or 9/26). The smallest 'fragment-ratio' is 2/3. 

fragment-ratio = required/necessary number of fragments for recovery + created/applicated number of fragments.

The 'fragment-ratio' ensures that desired goals such as high performance, high availability, cost optimization, long-term archiving or hyper-secure-offline data can be created and achieved.
