Online Quantum Safe Data Storage
Online Quantum Safe Data Storage
How it works - in steps
1.The user can upload and store his/her data (quantum-safe data back up, disaster recovery, archiving) to the Abragod Online Cloud Network. (Use a VPN for uploading data to enhance security). Pro and Business Accounts offer quantum safe business communication software (VPN + anti keystroke logging), especially made for secure communication within international organizations: Messaging data is stored and encrypted on your device, end to end encrypted data will get fragmented (secret sharing) and stored in your online storage (in transit). Pro and Business Accounts offer quantum safe MPC Wallet Light and instant ownership of quantum safe MPCcash Light (Crypto Currency), more details here.
2. The Abragod Hardware box uses secret sharing algorithms to split data files into fragments. The amount of created data fragments and the storage locations of the fragments are defined by the user and/or Abragod. Moreover, data fragments are encrypted with end-to-end encryption (symmetric AES 256 data encryption might be vulnerable to quantum computers).
3. The Abragod Hardware box stores the data fragments over one or more internet connections in different clouds and/or on different local S3 buckets.
4. When a fragment-ratio 2/3 is chosen, 2 out of 3 fragments (and no matter which 2 fragments) are sufficient for the Abragod Hardware box to restore/reconstruct the original file and data. Even if one of the fragments is stolen or lost, data can be restored/reconstructed with the remaining data fragments.
5. The user can decide to access uploaded and fragmented data again over the internet or decide to keep sensitive data at rest in the form of a secure recovery back up of highly sensitive data and thus never access the sensitive and fragmented data again over the internet. The user can, for an extra cost, receive a physical hard copy of the data fragments and get it home delivered or pick it up personally at one of our offices. The user can, in the near future, decide to access fragmented data over the upcoming quantum communication internet infrastructure (based on QKD) in Europe and other locations worldwide.
6. By using a quantum communication internet infrastructure based on QKD – Quantum Key Distribution (in 4-10 years available in Europe) - users can download fragmented data over a quantum-safe internet connection and of course upload data as well.
