General Data Protection Regulation EU

General Data Protection Regulation EU

What is the GDPR? The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Europe’s new data privacy and security law is the highest security and privacy law in the world and it imposes obligations and regulations on organizations anywhere - so long as they target or collect data related to people in the European Union. The GDPR has been effective since May 25, 2018 and it will levy harsh fines against those (individuals and organizations) who violate its security and privacy standards at a time when more people are entrusting their personal data with online cloud services and breaches are a daily occurrence and reality. The GDPR recognizes new privacy rights for data subjects with the goal of giving individuals more control and security over their personal data. The approach of Abragod is to make personal data useless to hackers by offering quantum-safe storage and applying data fragmentation hardware (secret sharing algorithms) and end-to-end encryption (AES).

The European Privacy Organization and the European Digital Rights (edri.org) is an association of civil and human rights from across Europe to defend your rights and freedoms in the digital environment with a strict link to GDPR.
